Alikuwa ni katibu wa DARUSO (Dar es Salaam University Students Organization) mwaka 2000/2001 pale mlimani.Ninaamini wapiganaji wa miaka ya mwisho wa tisini na miaka ya mwanzoni mwa elfu mbili watakuwa wanamfahamu kwani walikuwa pamoja wakiendeleza harakati pale juu mlimani.
Amefariki dunia na mazishi yatafanyika huko Kahama mkoa wa Shinyanga(Rest in Peace Brother)
Nadhani mlioko DARUSO kwa sasa ni challenge kwenu kufanya kilicho chema ili mkumbukwe daima kwa mazuri mliyowafanyia wanafunzi wenzenu wa chuo kikuu cha Dar es Salaam au chuo chochote hapa nyumbani Tanzania kwani tunapitia the same situation.
Mungu ailaze rorho ya mahali pema peponi na apumzike kwa amani.

I will always remember you Gervas for what you did at Mlimani in 2000/2001. You were really a mirror for those who fight for students' rights. A charismatic reader and one of the strongest DARUSO leaders during your time. We will miss you forever!
